Dear Colleague:

            The Academy of Business Disciplines will hold its Eighth annual meeting in Ft. Myers Beach on November 1, 2, and 3, 2007 (Thursday, Friday, Saturday.) We invite you to participate by submitting an abstract, proposal or paper for presentation at the annual meeting.

            The meeting will be held at the DiamondHead Convention Center located on the Gulf of Mexico on Ft. Myers Beach (see their web page at www.diamondheadfl.com.) A number of suites have been reserved for $115 to $140 per night plus tax. These suites offer a view of the beautiful white sands, glorious sunrises and sunsets, a master bedroom, fully equipped kitchenette in the living room and screened in lanai. Participants may make reservations by calling the DiamondHead at 800-443-2049. Be sure to tell the registration clerk that you are attending the ABD meeting. There are a limited number of these suites available at the DiamondHead so you are strongly encouraged to make your reservations early.

            The ABD will include your paper or abstract in the proceedings (which is not copyrighted) that will be sent to participants after the meeting. Participants may, if they wish, have their papers considered for publication in the academy's refereed Journal of Business Disciplines.

            Abstracts, proposals or papers should be submitted no later than June 15, 2007. Notifications to authors will be provided by July 15, 2007. The notification email will include instructions to authors as well as a registration form. Registration fees of $250 are due by September 1, 2007 ($300 after 9-1-07 .) The fee for multiple papers is $125 per paper.

            We encourage authors to submit their proposals or abstracts via email. The document should be in Microsoft Word if not included in the body of the email. Please include a cover page with: Title, name, address, phone, e-mail address(es) and track preference. A registration form will be emailed to individuals whose papers are accepted. We look forward to receiving your proposal and meeting with you at the DiamondHead.
